PHOTO ALBUM

Here are some pictures of my family and my other memories. Most of these were taken through my Olympus Infinity Zoom 230 camera (except the IIT photos). Click on the heading in each section to access the photographs.

My Family Some pictures of my family. More to come soon.
Virginia and Blacksburg Great pictures of Virginia's mountains and countryside as well as Blacksburg.
New York View the New York city from the Twin Towers in Manhattan. I managed to visit New York with one of my friends, Shanky, during August of 1997. With a sad note, these are my most precious photos in this album as the twin towers (World Trade Centers in New York) do not stand tall anymore after the Sept 11th 2001 Terrorist attacks.
Boston with my Friends Find the three of us from IIT KGP (Shanky, Bhasky and I) in Boston. Though it was a very short trip to Boston, but I liked the place a lot and specially the river.
Snaps of London This was my first tour of London while on my way to India during the summer of 1997. Nice city with all the historic monuments. I managed to visit all the importatnt places in London and it was possible only because of Debu (Debnarayan Kar), who was positioned in London then.
My Australia Tour Among the best places I have been to are Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. I was travelling on the job for a project in Australia for more than 3 months during Jan-March 2001. Spectacular places and nice weather in Australia (I did avoid the snow in Washington DC that winter). I recommend everyone to visit downunder at least once. Never forget to get your golf gear with you if you love this sport.
Sydney, Australia One has to get there to realize the grandeur of the famous Opera House in Sydney. Here are some pictures through my camera.
IIT Kharagpur Here are the memories of my 4 enjoyable years (1992-1996) at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, one of the famous engineering Institutes of India. And the photos of Patel Hall of Residence (Yo!! Patel) and its memories.
My Toys As a kid, I loved to play with toy cars. I remember the big red metal car which I carried everywhere I went. It had no choice other than being pushed into dirt, mud and water. And then dip in the bath tub with me for a wash. Things have not changed much, other than that these toys are now much bigger and can run without being pushed (when I put gas in them). Here are the pictures of my toys.
